- Description
- A number of children, parents, and their friends front of the Japanese Union Church, Kensington Place, Pasadena. The second boy to the left of the girl in front with the white dress and white ribbon in her hair is Jim Nishimoto. In the back row, left of a struggling cypress tree, is Nisuke Mitsumori, a charter member of church and a prominent lay leader of church. Pasadena City College has digital versions of both the annotated photograph as shown and a cropped version (photo only). The Japanese Union Church is currently home to the First Presbyterian Church, Altadena on Kensignton Place.
