- Portrait of Anselmo Nava who was the jefe municipal of La Calera de Victor Rosales in Zacatecas in the early 1900s. He and his wife, Maria Rodarte Sanchez de Nava, died near 1912 during the Mexican Revolution, leaving 12 children. One son, Pedro Nava, moved to California and would become city treasurer of Visalia. Their youngest sons, Enrique, Roberto, and Ruperto, took a freight train in 1914 to Silver City, New Mexico before settling in San Gabriel, California.
