- From a brochure entitled "Treasures on Your Block, Brenner Park Neighborhood" about William Harrison's (1882-1955) contributions to the development of Pasadena. Originally from South Carolina, Harrison came to Pasadena in 1914. His office was at 1334 Lincoln and the Harrisons lived at 1330 Lincoln. Harrison - known as W.H. - was the first African American realtor in Pasadena and was an active builder. During World War II, WH kept up the property of many Japanese American neighbors on Lincoln and returned it to them after they returned from camp.
