Description
Photograph of commencement taken in the area in front of the 'C' and 'D' buildings. It seems that it was taken from an upper floor of the 'C' building facing north. In the top left of the photo is the 'D' building with a platform in front of it. The platform is built in two levels, on the top level of the platform are about 24 people seated behind a podium. there is a figure at the podium. On the lower level of the platform areseveral flower arrangements and what looks like a sign language interpreter. The platform is facing out over the grassy space. Seated in several rows facing the platform are rows of capped and gowned figures - it looks like there are two sections of eight rows. These are probably the graduating students. Behind them is a space and then more rows of chairs holding what look like family and friends as they are wearing regular clothing. There is another section of seating at the top of the rows of graduates as well as in the forground of the photograph. You can see Colorado Blvd at the top of the photograph. Onthe back of the photograph "Larry PS1 summer issue" is written in pencil as is "commencement, D building, looking north".
