- Newspaper dated 10 Oct 1936, showing ""principals in the dedicatory program"" for Lincoln School. Lincoln Elementary at 600 E. Grand Avenue was the school for Mexican and some Asian American children until the 1950s. Second from left is R.S. Nava (Ruperto Sanchez Nava), president of the San Gabriel lodge of Alianza Hispano Americana. Also in the photograph are: Daniel Dominguez, J.W. Cokeley, H.M. Davidson, Ralph Crane, R.B. Walter, Anna Rambeau and Kyle I. French.
