Description
Jessica Valentine's University of Redlands' roommate joined Pitzer College's faculty in 1969 and became the second African American full professor at the Claremont Colleges. Dr. Jackson also served on the Pomona School Board from 1981 to 1989. She was a professor of English and African American Studies.
