- On a sheet of paper taped to the back of the photograph is the following: "LOCAL STUDENTS PLACE FIRST IN BofA AWARDS PROGRAM-- Eight area community college students won top honors in the area event competition for Bank of America's Community College Awards Program. The competition was held Wednesday march 25, at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut. Congratulating the winners is Event Chairman Joseph Zagorski, Vice-Pres., Instruction, Mt. San Antonio College, left. Second from the left is Arlene Hart, Mt. San Antonio College and Michael Serpa, Citrus College, winners in the Social Science-Humanities category and Margaret Davis, Pasadena City College and Norma Gunther, Cirtus College winners in the Technical-Vocational category. B of A Manager Jackie Mangana, right, was the Coordinator for the semifinal competition. Each student is guaranteed a minimum cash prize of $500 and may win up to $2,500 in cash awards at the final selection event which will be held April 23. BETTE EDWARDS BANK OF AMERICA 714/620-3093"
