Restore Humor, Win Crown
Jaycee’rs jumped down the fabulous Rabbit Hole this morning in a journey to Wonder-
and with OMD’s production “Fantasy in Wonderland.”
This production is based on an entirely new idea concerning an old-fashioned fairy-tale
plot about Rumple, the jolly little boy of Wonderland, who is deprived of his sense of humor
by the Wicked Witch. Concerned villagers, in an effort to make him smile again, vainly employ
the comedy troupe of Honest John to perform. Finally they realize that the Witch can be
defeated only by standing fearlessly against her. As the Witch crumples to dust, Rumple
laughs, and his sense of humor is restored. He is given the Magic Castle of Happiness and
crowned King of Wonderland to rule with his Queen, Crepe Suzette, and lives happily ever
after.
More like an operette, some of
the music was based on Gilbert
