Pasadena City College bestowed its highest honor upon 24 outstanding students and four
deserving faculty members this morning when the 28 persons were tapped into the Order of

At this morning’s assembly,
life passes to all Pasadena City
College events were awarded to
four top members of the admin¬
istrative staff by the Associated
Student Body Board of Represen¬
tatives.
The passes went to Dr. William
B. Langsdorf, principal; Dr.
Catherine J. Robbins, assistant
principal; Robert Haugh, dean
of student activities; and Earl W.
Holder, business assistant. The
awards were a token of the ap¬
preciation of the excellent ad-
visership and thoughtful guidance
expressed by the administrators
during the past years.

On hand from the famous re¬
cording and public appearance
dance band were Joe Ann Grier,
Butch Stone, Stumpy Brown and
Ray Simms. The well-known in¬
strumental group provided the
music on Bob Hope’s radio show
for many years, and have made
many public appearances, includ¬
ing the Pasadena Civic Audito¬
rium.

Chronicle Bows Out
With this issue, the Pasadena City College Chron¬
icle winds up 89 years of continuous publication on this
campus, one of the oldest traditions and activities of
the college. A new newspaper will serve the new two-
year junior college when it opens here next fall, with
George D. Morlan, Chronicle associate editor, as editor-
in chief.
