adds color and enjoyment to the
traditional OMD events.
In the second semester, Omi¬

Long tradition belongs
to PCt honor sodety
Omicron Mu Delta, once called the Order of Mast and
Dagger, is today Pasadena CC’s Order of Distinguished
Service. OMD has long been the outstanding honor society
on campus. Students cannot apply for membership in OMD.
The members are chosen for out- _
standing service to the school and
student body and are recognized
at the traditional tapping cere¬
mony at the close of each semes¬
ter. The society’s emblem is a
black pirate, worn on the OMD
white sweater.
Next spring will bring the OMD
Carnival to PCC’s campus. This
annual carnival is but one of the
many projects undertaken by the
club each semester.
The most exciting event of the
carnival is the announcement of
the winners of the John W. Har¬
beson Award. This tribute goes
to the outstanding freshman boy
and girl in the field of service to
the school.
President Bob Grant and Ad¬
viser Robert Trevor lead the so¬
ciety this semester. Doug Perry
serves as vice-president, while
Alice Mothershead and Grant
Bachtold are secretary and trea¬
surer, respectively. ASB Presi¬
dent Wayne Whitehill rounds out
the list of this semester’s OMD
members.
