- Description
- Cho Ito came to Pasadena as picture bride in 1912 from Tokoname, Aichi-ken. She was a school teacher in Japan from a family with 15th century Korean roots, forcibly brought to Japan as potters. Tokoname is know for redware teapots. Cho will die in 1920s of tuberculosis. She is buried at Mountain View Cemetery.
