- Stephen H. Mack, Jr. (2nd from right in suit) worked as a labor foreman for the Southern Pacific Railroads for 46 years, starting in 1938. He also had a maintenance business on the side. Brother Timothy Mack worked as a mechanic and welder for the railroads. Brother Paul Mack was an entrepreneur who was a gardener, painter, and did many things. Stephen Mack Jr. was a representative of Local 758 of the International Brotherhood of Firemen and Oilers.
